Hekxagrammi on kuusikulmainen kahdesta kolmiosta muodostuva tähti. Sitä on käytetty monissa uskonnoissa ja kulttuureissa ja se on yksi vanhimmista ja universaaleimmista henkimaailman symboleista.

Juutalaisuudessa se yhdistetään Raamatun Solomoniin Daavidin Tähtenä. Rituaalimagiassa heksagrammia kutsutaan Solomonin kilveksi. Heksagrammi on yksi hyvin voimakkaista noitien, taikureiden ja velhojen symboleista. Sitä on käytetty erilaisessa noituudessa, taikuudessa, salatieteissä ja kehitettäessä eläinradan horoskooppeja.

Kuuden sakaransa, ja sen sisältämän luvun ’666’ takia, sitä pidetään Saatanan voimakkaimpana symbolina.

Hexagrammia käytettiin tukena taikureille ja alkemisteille. Velhot uskoivat sen esittävän erään erityislaatuisen demonin ’trudin’ jalanjälkeä ja käyttivät sitä sekä kutsuakseen pahoja henkiä sekä pitääkseen ne poissa.

Ylöspäin osoittavaa kolmiota on luonnehdittu naisellisuuden symboliksi ja alaspäin osoittavaa miehisyyden. Kun kaksi kolmiota yhtyvät, niistä ilmenee voimien aktiivinen ja passiivinen yhteys luonnossa; se esittää miehen ja naisen elementtejä.

Eli lyhyesti sanottuna hexagrammi on kaikkein ilkein ja yksi voimakkaimmista symboleista noituudessa. Sitä on käytetty demonien kutsumiseen tähän ulottuvuuteen, ottamaan yhteyttä kuolleisiin, kuvaamaan seksuaalista toimintaa sekä kuvaamaan jumalia kuten Brahma, Vishnu ja Shiva. 	Udjat or all seeing eye.  one of few symbols referring to Lucifer (king of  hell), whom it is though will pass judgment. Below the eye is a tear  because he mourns for those outside his influence.
